David Hatami, Ed.D. (ABD) is an accomplished Senior Executive and Speaker with more than 15 years of success across the higher education and management consulting industries. Leveraging extensive experience in training, strategy, and academic administration, he is a valuable advisor for an organization seeking guidance on employee training programs, e-learning platforms, or technical curriculum development. In addition, David can professionally guide individuals seeking unbiased consultation on his or her higher education goals and aspirations.
Mr. Hatami began his career in Higher Education in both undergraduate and graduate admissions. Then going on to work for many years in career and student advising, working with thousands of students over the years. After briefly working in corporate education he ultimately returned to academia as faculty. While teaching and administrating, he has informally advised hundreds of students about their careers and educational matters.
His academic leadership, training, coaching and development background provide an excellent base in which to evaluate and mentor students and faculty at all levels. He has a thorough understanding of Andragogy (adult learning theory) and Pedagogy (general learning theory) within the context of multiple modalities. His unique approach enables his ability to customize the individual educational needs of his educational stakeholders (clients).
Mr. Hatami has served as Academic Dean and Dean of Faculty for both public and private institutions; both proprietary and non-proprietary academic institutions. With his unique set of experiences, he has evaluated countless students and faculty members alike during his career. During which he has developed a proprietary methodology to guide students and even seasoned faculty to better understand how to better enrich educational experiences of all academic stakeholders.
He was also responsible for recruitment, hiring, managing, evaluating new faculty members. Was instrumental in driving instructional and curriculum strategies in these same online and on ground classrooms that supported overall academic, student and faculty career successes, all while upholding the highest standards of academic integrity.
Throughout his executive career, David has held leadership positions with a variety of educational institutes, including Eastern Maine Community College, Strayer University, and Everest University. He provides consultation services through his company, ScholarBar Consulting.
